A 15 years student girl from Sannandaj committed suicide

Kurdistan Press Agency: A 15 years student girl in Sannandaj due to some social problems tried to commit suicide, and as a consequent, she lost her life.
According to Kurdistan Press Agency: Today Tuesday, October 22, a student girl whose name was ‘’ Shaqayeq Mohammadi’’ committed suicide because of a social problem.
‘’ Shaqayeq Mohammadi’’ Who was 1st grade student in high school, it has been few years that with her family has gone to Sannandaj from ‘’ Nawara’’ village and has been resided from then.
During one year ago, the rate of suicide by Kurdish citizens especially among women has increased overwhelmingly. And this has caused a big concern among women activists, and they consider it as a dangerous alarm to Kurdish society.
According to registered recorded statistics from the Kurdistan Press Agency Statistics Center; from the beginning of this year till now, 11 women and girls of ages under 18 from Kurdish residential places in Iran have committed suicide.
This rated number and according to Kurdpa Press agency statistics center, Women right activists think that if there is a serious investigation about this suicide, the real data will be much more than this rate.
This rate of death is in a situation that most of the cases of women\'s and girls’ suicide aren’t being shown in the Media or their families tries to cover the suicide up due to old tradition in the society.
