Shabab/Ilam; Six Days of Arbitrary Detention and No News on the Fate of Amirhossein Rostami

June 17, 2026; following six days since the arbitrary detention of "Amirhossein Rostami," a 20-year-old Kurdish youth from Shabab District in Ilam Province, there remains no information whatsoever regarding his fate and place of detention, and he is deprived of the right to contact and meet with his family, as well as access to a lawyer.
An informed source, while confirming this news to Kurdpa, stated: "Amirhossein Rostami" was arrested on June 12, 2026, by security forces without presenting a judicial warrant, and he was transferred to an unknown location.
Until the publication of this report, the reasons for the detention of this Kurdish youth remain unknown, and security agencies have provided no explanation in this regard.
