Naqadeh; One Week of Detention and Uncertainty Regarding the Fate of Mamand Khodadadi Without Access to the Right to a Lawyer, Visits, or Contact

April 30, 2026; Following more than a week since the arbitrary detention of a Kurdish citizen from Naqadeh named “Mamand Khodadadi,” there is still no information available regarding his fate or place of detention.

An informed source, confirming this news to Kurdpa, stated that in early May 2026 (late April), “Mamand Khodadadi” was arrested by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant, and since then, his family has remained uninformed of his fate and whereabouts.

According to this source, during the period of detention, he has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, any contact with his family, and visits.

As of the publication of this news, the reasons for the detention of this Kurdish citizen are unknown, and security forces have provided no explanation in this regard.
