Piranshahr; Mohammad Ghader-Golabi temporarily released on heavy bail after 45 days of arbitrary detention
April 25, 2026; Mohammad Ghader-Golabi, a Kurdish citizen from the city of Piranshahr, after spending 45 days in arbitrary detention by security forces in this city and being held in one of the security detention centers, was temporarily released during the past week upon posting a heavy bail.
An informed source, while confirming this news, told Kurdpa: "Mohammad Ghader-Golabi" was arbitrarily arrested in mid-March 2026 without the presentation of a judicial warrant by security forces and was transferred to an unknown location, and after 45 days of detention, was released during the past week upon posting heavy bail.
Until the moment of publication of this news, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrest of this Kurdish citizen, and the security forces have provided no explanation in this regard. During his detention, he was deprived of access to a lawyer and meetings with his family.
