February 9, 2026; Following 29 days since the arbitrary detention of “Mohammad Javadan,” a blogger popularly known as “Black Scorpion” and a Kurdish citizen from the village of “Shurab” in “Sirvan” county, “Ilam” province, no information regarding his status or fate is available.
An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated; “Mohammad Javadan” was arrested on Monday, January 12, 2026, by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was transferred to an unknown location. The lack of information regarding his fate and whereabouts has led to serious concerns, as some reports suggest he is being subjected to severe torture. Furthermore, there are growing fears that he may face a death sentence on charges of “leading the protests.”
This well-known blogger had previously been arrested during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” (Jin, Jiyan, Azadi) revolutionary uprising.
It should be noted that during his detention, this Kurdish citizen has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, as well as contact and visitation with his family, a situation that has caused serious concern for his family.
