Ilam; Continuation of Mass and Violent Detentions of Kurdish Citizens in Ilam; 4 More Individuals Arrested

February 2, 2026; From January 17 to January 30, 2026, at least four Kurdish citizens from various cities in "Ilam" province—identified as “Reza Sheikhizadeh,” “Farhad Nasiri,” “Milad Esmaeili,” and “Mashallah Soltanian”—have been arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic in a violent manner and without the presentation of a judicial warrant.

According to received information, three of these citizens are being held in undisclosed locations, and after a period ranging from several days to more than 16 days since the time of arrest, there is no official information regarding their status or fate. Additionally, one of the detainees has been transferred to "Ilam Prison" after enduring torture.

Details of the detainees are as follows:

Reza Sheikhizadeh, a Kurdish youth from “Dehloran”; arrested on the evening of January 30, 2026.

Farhad Nasiri, a Kurdish youth from “Ilam”; arrested on January 28, 2026; duration of lack of information: 5 days.

Milad Esmaeili, a Kurdish citizen from “Ilam”; arrested on January 17, 2026; duration of lack of information: 16 days.

Mashallah Soltanian, a Kurdish citizen from “Asmanabad” in "Ilam"; arrested on January 29, 2026, and transferred to "Ilam Prison" after enduring severe torture.

It should be noted that all these citizens are deprived of the right to access a lawyer and the right to visit their families.
