Saqqez; Mobin Mohammadzadeh Released After 22 Days of Arbitrary Detention One Week Under Torture for Forced Confession

An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated; Mr. Mohammadzadeh was subjected to severe torture and physical assault by security forces for one week in an unknown location to compel him into a forced confession. The source added that he was ultimately released after 22 days of arbitrary detention on a bail of 500 million Tomans.

In the early hours of Thursday, January 8, 2026, “Mobin Mohammadzadeh,” a citizen from “Saqqez,” was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
