An informed source, while confirming this news, told “Kurdpa”: “Majid Oghazi,” a Kurmanj Kurdish youth from the city of “Quchan,” was violently detained on January 10, 2026, by security forces without a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location. He was transferred to “Quchan” Prison after the completion of interrogation and was temporarily released on February 25, 2026, after 47 days of arbitrary detention and uncertainty.

According to this report, he was deprived of the right to access a lawyer during the 47-day period of arbitrary detention. Furthermore, after being transferred to “Quchan” Prison, he had been granted the right to meet and contact his family.
