February 19, 2026; In the continuation of the wave of arbitrary and mass detentions of Kurdish citizens in Ilam, 10 Kurdish youths and adolescents in the cities of Ilam, Abdanan, Asmanabad, Darreh Shahr, and Chovar were arbitrarily detained and transferred to unknown locations.

An informed source, while confirming these detentions, told Kurdpa: The detention of these Kurdish individuals was carried out without a judicial warrant by the security forces of the Islamic Republic. As of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for their detention, and security forces have provided no explanation.

The details and dates of the detentions are as follows:

Wednesday, February 18, 2026: Five individuals were detained: Behzad Sefidkhani (from a village near Ilam), Mojtaba Mohammadvali (a youth from Abdanan), Alireza Nazari (a 17-year-old from Asmanabad, Chardavol), Hossein Maghsoudi (a 15-year-old from Darreh Shahr), and Amir-Ali Lotfi (a 15-year-old from Darreh Shahr). It is noted that Mojtaba Mohammadvali previously faced case-building by security agencies during the "Woman, Life, Freedom" revolutionary uprising.

Tuesday, February 17, 2026: Four individuals were detained: Pouria Soltanian (22 years old, from Asmanabad, Chardavol), Amir-Saeed Chahartareh (from Abdanan), Saman Soleimani (an adolescent from the village of Haft Cheshmeh, Abdanan), and Adib Nazari (from Abdanan). During the arrest of Saman Soleimani, security forces clashed with village residents, damaged several civilian vehicles, and used live ammunition and tear gas to disperse the crowd.

Monday, February 16, 2026: Hamid Maleki (a 37-year-old from the village of Arkvazi, Chovar) was detained.
