February 15, 2026; After more than a month since the arbitrary detention of "Peyman Rahmani", a Kurdish citizen from Kamyaran city, there is no information available regarding his fate or place of detention, and this has caused severe concern for his relatives regarding his life and fate.
An informed source, while confirming the news, told Kurdpa: "Peyman Rahmani" was detained by security forces without a judicial warrant a few days after the popular protests of January 8, 2026, in Kamyaran city, while he was injured by pellet gunshots fired by the government repressive forces of the Islamic Republic, and was transferred to an unknown location.
In the early days of his detention, during a contact with his family, he informed them of his arrest; however, since then, no information has been available regarding his fate or place of custody.
Until the publication of this report, this Kurdish citizen has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer and visitations with his family, and due to being injured at the time of arrest, he is also deprived of access to medical services and care.
