Bukan; 5 Days of Detention and Absolute Lack of Information Regarding the Fate of Parviz Bangini Violent Arrest Along with Seizure of All Family Members' Mobile Phones

February 15, 2026; After 5 days since the arbitrary detention of "Parviz Bangini", a Kurdish citizen from Bukan city, there is no information available regarding his fate or place of detention, despite repeated inquiries by his family to security institutions.

An informed source, while confirming the news, told Kurdpa: "Parviz Bangini" was detained on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, following a raid by security forces from the Intelligence Department of Bukan city on his home, without a judicial warrant, and was transferred to an unknown location. During this arrest, security forces, without any legal authorization, seized his mobile phone and those of all family members. Furthermore, during this raid, some members of his family were subjected to physical assault and battery.

Until the publication of this report, there is no information available regarding the reasons for the detention of this Kurdish citizen, and security forces have provided no explanation in this regard. Additionally, he has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, visitations, and contact with his family, and is also deprived of medical care.
