February 13, 2026; After 8 days since the arbitrary detention of two Kurdish brothers from Ilam province named "Mehdi Namizad" and "Ali Namizad", there is no information available regarding their fate or place of detention.

An informed source, while confirming the news, told Kurdpa: "Mehdi Namizad" and "Ali Namizad" were detained on February 6, 2026, by security forces without a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location.

Until the publication of this report, no information has been available regarding the reasons for the detention of these two Kurdish citizens, and security forces have provided no explanation in this regard. Additionally, during their detention, these two Kurdish brothers have been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, visitations, and contact with their family.
