Bojnord Prison; Abbas Keyhani, Judo Champion, 20 Days Under Torture and Interrogation for Forced Confession

January 31, 2026; After more than 20 days since the arbitrary and violent arrest of “Abbas Keyhani,” a Judo champion, national team member, and a Kurd from “Bojnord” in “North Khorasan,” he is being subjected to torture and intense interrogations for the purpose of obtaining a forced confession in “Bojnord Prison.”

An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” announced that “Abbas Keyhani” is in very dire conditions in prison and has been placed under severe torture and interrogation for a forced confession, and the risk of obtaining forced confessions from him is very high.

He was arrested in a violent and arbitrary manner, without the presentation of a judicial warrant, on January 10, 2026.

“Abbas Keyhani,” 19 years old, is a national Judo champion, the Asian Kurash silver medalist, and also a member of the national “Judo” and “Kurash” teams of Iran.
