Dehloran; Ali Sheikhi, Kurdish bodybuilding champion and coach, released on heavy bail with signs of torture after 16 days of arbitrary detention

January 30, 2026; “Ali Sheikhi,” a Kurdish citizen from “Dehloran” in “Ilam” province and a bodybuilding champion and coach, was temporarily released upon posting heavy bail after 16 days of detention in one of the security detention centers of the “IRGC Intelligence” in “Dehloran.” His physical and mental condition after release is reported as unfavorable, and he is undergoing medical treatment.

An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated that signs of physical torture are completely evident on the body of “Ali Sheikhi.” He suffers from severe abdominal pain and is not in a suitable psychological condition. Although he has provided no explanation about what happened to him during the detention period, his family and relatives are deeply concerned about his physical and mental health.

According to this report, “Ali Sheikhi” was arrested on the morning of Wednesday, January 7, 2026, around 5:00 AM, following a violent raid by “IRGC Intelligence” forces on his family home without a judicial warrant, accompanied by beatings, and was transferred to an unknown location.
