Ilam; Violent raid on the home of three brothers and the arrest of two; Sasan, Ehsan, and Ahmad Pakravan

January 29, 2026; Following the wave of arbitrary arrests in various cities of “Ilam” province, during the past days, the security forces of the Islamic Republic violently raided the home of three Kurdish brothers from “Ilam” named “Sasan Pakravan,” “Ehsan Pakravan,” and “Ahmad Pakravan.” During this attack, they arrested “Sasan Pakravan” and “Ahmad Pakravan” with the use of violence and transferred them to an unknown location. “Ehsan Pakravan” managed to escape during this raid, but so far there is no news regarding his fate, and the probability of his arrest is reported to be high.

According to an informed source who spoke to Kurdpa, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, security forces raided the family home of these three brothers without presenting a judicial warrant and along with beatings, attempting to arrest all three individuals. During this action, “Sasan Pakravan” and “Ahmad Pakravan” were arrested, and “Ehsan Pakravan” managed to escape; however, due to the absolute lack of information about his status, concerns regarding the possibility of his arrest have increased.

It is noteworthy that “Ahmad Pakravan” has a prior record as a political prisoner.

Based on available information, “Sasan Pakravan” is 22 years old, single, and self-employed; “Ehsan Pakravan” is 39 years old, single, and a bodybuilding coach; and “Ahmad Pakravan” is 37 years old, married, has a young child, and is employed as a contractor. These three brothers are originally from the village of “Sarab Karzan” in “Sirvan” county of “Ilam” province and are residents of the city of “Ilam.”
