Shiraz; Arrest of 4 Kurdish citizens in Shiraz and absolute lack of information regarding the fate of 2 individuals; Arman Ardam, Ashkan Ardam, Arshad Ardam, and Ramin Yousefi

January 29, 2026; Sixteen days ago, four Kurdish citizens from “Tekab” named “Arman Ardam”, “Ashkan Ardam”, “Arshad Ardam”, and “Ramin Yousefi” were arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic without the presentation of a judicial warrant and in a violent manner in “Shiraz”. After a few days, “Arshad Ardam” and “Ramin Yousefi” were released, but so far, no information is available regarding the fate and place of detention of “Arman Ardam” and “Ashkan Ardam,” and their families are extremely worried about their situation.

“Arman Ardam,” son of Ebrahim, 22 years old, and “Ashkan Ardam,” son of Mohammad, 24 years old, who are cousins, are originally from the village of “Ghazghapan” and are residents of the city of “Tekab” and were arrested in “Shiraz”. Also, “Arshad Ardam,” 34 years old, from the village of “Ghazghapan” in “Tekab,” and “Ramin Yousefi,” 25 years old, from the village of “Hassanabad” in “Tekab,” on the evening of Wednesday, January 14, 2026, during a raid by security forces on a cold storage facility in “Shiraz,” where they were working, were arrested without a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location.

Subsequently, “Arshad Ardam” and “Ramin Yousefi” were released after a few days, but with 16 days having passed since the time of arrest, there is still no information about the fate and place of detention of “Arman Ardam” and “Ashkan Ardam,” and their families are in a state of extreme concern.
