Ilam; Arbitrary Arrest and Lack of Information on the Fate of 21 Kurdish Citizens Detained in Various Cities of Ilam

January 25, 2026; From January 8 to January 22, 2026, at least 19 Kurdish citizens from various cities and villages of Ilam province, including; “Abolfazl Nazari, Sattar Zeydi, Farhad Shafieniya, Mohammad Zeinivand, Sajjad Rahmani, Mohammad-Mehdi (Makan) Nemati, Issa Bahmani, Ali Daneshpajouh, Abbas Jamshidi, Reza Minaei, Mohammad Shamsi, Kamyar Amraei, Amir Amraei, Ali Amraei, Ali Ahmad Shafiei, Arash Jafari, Nima Seydmiraei, Reza Tij, Hassan Mardani, and also Mohammad and Arian Rahmani,” have been arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic in a violent manner and without being presented with a judicial warrant. These individuals are being held in unknown locations, and with the passage of a period between a few days to more than 18 days, there is no official information available regarding their status, place of detention, or potential charges against them.
