Kamyaran; Continuation of Detention and 11 Days of Uncertainty for Mohammad Marabi in Sanandaj Security Detention Center

January 23, 2026; Mohammad Marabi, a Kurdish youth from the village of “Marab,” a suburb of Kamyaran, remains in a state of uncertainty despite the passage of 11 days since his arrest.

According to an informed source to Kurdpa, this Kurdish citizen was transferred to one of the security detention centers in Sanandaj for interrogation and has so far been deprived of access to a lawyer and meetings with his family.

This informed source added: The follow-ups by this youth's family to learn about his fate have been unsuccessful.

This Kurdish youth was arrested by security forces on January 13, 2026, without being presented with a judicial warrant.
