September 14, 2026; Images received by Kurdpa reveal that as part of the ongoing policy of securitizing Aichi Cemetery and the city of Saqqez over recent years—following the state-sanctioned killing of Zhina-Mahsa Amini and the historic funeral that sparked the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement—new visual evidence shows the Municipal Authority and the Ministry of Intelligence constructing larger, taller mounting towers to install and expand surveillance cameras along the Saqqez-Aichi Road and the cemetery grounds.

On September 3, 2023, on the eve of the first anniversary of Zhina-Mahsa Amini's state-sanctioned killing and less than two weeks before the anniversary of the movement, the Islamic Republic intensified the security climate in Saqqez to prevent renewed protests. During that period, surveillance cameras were installed in public squares, main thoroughfares, city exit routes, and throughout Aichi Cemetery—including near Zhina's resting place. Concurrently, the Saqqez Intelligence Department and Public Places Supervision Police raided local businesses, confiscating operating licenses and national IDs while threatening shopkeepers with permanent business revocation if they engaged in strikes. Kurdpa published a detailed report accompanied by extensive photographic evidence documenting these camera installations.

On September 3, 2023, Kurdpa also released video evidence documenting deliberate state-engineered structural alterations at Aichi Cemetery in Saqqez aimed at obscuring Zhina-Mahsa Amini’s grave from public view and access, alongside the installation of security cameras to assert total monitoring control over the cemetery grounds.

Furthermore, on September 15, 2025, on the eve of the third anniversary of Zhina-Mahsa Amini's state-sanctioned killing, Kurdpa published exclusive photos showing the reinforcement and expansion of fencing around Aichi Cemetery—a measure carried out to restrict public movement, control access points, and force all visitors to enter exclusively through the main entrance gate.
