Marivan; Khabat Vaisi was transferred to prison to serve his sentence

On March 3, 2024, a Kurdish citizen named "Khabat Vaisi" son of Abdullah from the village of "Golchir" in Marivan was transferred to the prison of this city to serve his sentence.

According to an informed source, this citizen had previously been sentenced to 15 months in prison by the Revolutionary Court of Marivan, headed by Judge "Rouhi", on charges of "propaganda against the system and membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties to the Iranian government".

Mr. Vaisi was arrested by security forces on September 20, 2022, during the protests of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi in Marivan and was released on bail on October 18, 2022.

This citizen of Marivan was again arrested by security forces on Tuesday, November 7, 2022, and was released on bail after completing the interrogation process.
