Mahabad; Arrest of a citizen by security forces

On February 6, 2024, a Kurdish citizen named "Soran Pachideh" son of Mohammad from the village of "Ghabaghkandi" in Mahabad was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to an informed source, security forces arrested this 31-year-old citizen without presenting a judicial warrant.
The informed source added: So far, the follow-ups of Pachideh's family to find out the fate of their son have been unsuccessful.
As of the publication of this news, there is no information available on the reason for the arrest and the charges against Soran Pachideh.
