Marivan; A Kolbar (porter) lost his life due to frostbite

...On the night of February 6, 2024, a Kolbar (porter) named "Farid Robina" lost his life due to frostbite at the "Anjiran" border of Marivan.

According to an informed source, the body of this Kolbar was found after 7 hours of searching at the heights of the "Anjiran" border of Marivan.

This Kolbar had formed a joint life 20 days ago.

Farid Robina was from the village of "Chali Sur" and is a resident of Marivan.

According to the statistics recorded in the Statistics Center of the Kurdish Human Rights Organization, from 2012 to 2023, a total of 2206 Kolbars were killed and injured (589 killed and 1617 injured).

40 of the killed and injured Kolbars were under 18 years of age.

More than 73% of these Kolbars were killed and injured by direct fire from the Islamic Republic's military forces.

Killing and injuring due to falling from height with more than 6%, due to frostbite and snowfall 4%, and due to mine explosions with close to 4% are among the main factors of killing and injuring Kolbars.
