Sina Dashmir was transferred to Naghdeh prison to serve his prison sentence
On January 21, Sina Dashmir, a citizen from the village of "Gazgask" in Piranshahr, was transferred to Naghdeh prison to serve his prison sentence.
This young Kurd had previously been sentenced by the first branch of the Revolutionary Court of Mahabad, presided by Judge "Amir Ojaghlou", to 40 months in prison for "membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties to the Iranian government" and 35 months in prison for "slogan writing and action against national security".
Also, Sina Dashmir in another case was sentenced by branch 102 of the Criminal Court Two of Piranshahr, presided by Judge "Reza Ghorbani Saatloo", to pay 50 million rials in cash to the fund of the Islamic Republic of Iran government as a substitute for three months of correctional imprisonment and to endure 40 lashes of correctional flogging away from public view and in a roofed place and other than the head and face and genitals. On February 14, 2023, this young Kurd was temporarily released from Naghdeh prison by posting a four billion rial bail.
In January 2023, this Kurd citizen was arrested by the security forces without presenting a judicial verdict and was transferred to one of the security detention centers of Urmia for interrogation.
This citizen was transferred to Naghdeh prison after completing the interrogation stages.
