A Kolbar (porter) was injured by a bullet and beaten by military forces on the Baneh border

On January 16, 2024, a Kurdish Kolbar (porter) named "Idris Esmaeili" 30 years old and from Saqqez was severely injured by a direct bullet and beaten by military forces on the Baneh border.
According to an informed source to Kurdpa; this Kolbar was first shot directly by the border guards from a close distance and then severely beaten with boots.
The border guards left this Kolbar alone after injuring him and he was found and transferred to the hospital by local people after a few hours. This is while Mr. Esmaeili and his fellow Kolbars had no cargo with them.
Idris Esmaeili is married and has one child.
