A Kurdish citizen was transferred to Naghdeh prison to serve his prison sentence

On January 13, 2024, Omid Ahmadrash, a citizen from the village of "Lak-Ben" in Piranshahr, was summoned to the first branch of the criminal execution department of the public and revolutionary court of this city and transferred to Naghdeh prison to serve his prison sentence.

This citizen was previously convicted of "collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian regime" by the first branch of the revolutionary court of Mahabad to 15 months in prison.

This Kurdish citizen was arrested in July 2023 without a judicial warrant by the security forces and was temporarily released after the completion of the interrogation process by depositing bail.
