Shoresh Abubakri, a well-known artist from Sardasht known as "Shorashwar" in the latest video that he posted on his Instagram page in Kurdish one day before his arrest, talks about the government's restrictions and preventive actions to prevent his activities in the field of Kurdish art and literature in the past two decades.

Mr. Abubakri, who published this video under the title "Heartfelt with the People", while emphasizing that "the place of a real artist is in the hearts of the people" and that "a real artist is someone who continues his work with conviction in any situation and conveys his voice"; He points out that in recent years all his concert and activity permits have been canceled and all the ways of activity have been closed to him. Shoresh Abubakri, known as "Shorashwar", says that in his last attempt to do artistic work, he had tried to get a permit for a festival called "Payize Do" from the beginning of spring 2023, but "they said no again". Mr. Abubakri points out that since 2011 due to holding a Nowruz ceremony, all his artistic activities have been strongly opposed, and for me too, the question is "Why?". But we are here and we continue based on what we believe in because we believe in an independent and flawless art.

Civil activists say that one of the main reasons for the government's pressure on this Kurdish artist throughout these years has been that he has stood by the pains of society and supported the people. "Shoreshwar" himself also emphasizes in the video that he has done his best to be with the pains of society wherever needed and to support the people.
