Two brothers were arrested by security forces in Sanandaj

On Monday, January 1, two Kurdish citizens named "Morteza Mohammadi" and "Ebrahim Mohammadi" from Sanandaj were arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.

According to an informed source to Kurdpa, on Monday morning, security forces raided the house of Morteza Mohammadi in the "Hasan Abad" neighborhood of Sanandaj without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him with violence.

The informed source added: Ebrahim Mohammadi went to the first branch of the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj to follow up on his brother's fate and was arrested by security forces.

At the time of publication of this news, there is no information available on the reason for the arrest and the charges against these two brothers.

Also, Morteza Mohammadi was arrested by security forces on February 19, 2023, and was released from Sanandaj prison on Wednesday, March 6 of the same year by depositing bail.

In this regard, also, on December 25, Mohammad Jafar Mohammadi, the father of Morteza and Ebrahim, was arrested by security forces at his home in the "Haji Abad" neighborhood of Sanandaj without presenting a judicial warrant and with violence.
