Continued detention and uncertainty of Mohammad Taher Hossein-Pour in Naghadeh prison

Mohammad Taher Hossein-Pour, a Kurdish citizen from Naghadeh, has been more than four months since arrest and remains uncertain in Naghadeh prison.

According to an informed source, this citizen has been deprived of access to a designated lawyer so far.

The informed source added: that Mr. Hossein-Pour was transferred to Naghadeh prison after 40 days of interrogation from a security detention center.

In late August 2023, security forces raided the home of this Kurdish citizen without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him.

So far, no accurate information has been obtained about the reason for the arrest and the charges against Mohammad Taher Hossein-Pour.

In September 2021, Mr. Hossein-Pour was sentenced to 15 months in prison by the Revolutionary Court of Naghadeh on charges of "destruction of public property" and "participation in the protests of July 2021 of Naghadeh people".

This Kurdish citizen was arrested at that time without presenting a judicial warrant by security forces and transferred to Naghadeh prison after completing the interrogation stages.
