Killing and injuring 2206 Kolbars (porters) in the last 12 years AD (2012-2023)
The Statistics Center of the Kurdish Human Rights Organization, at the end of 2023 AD, presents the statistics of killing and injuring Kolbars (porters) in the last 12 years AD in a detailed statistical report (from 2012 to 2023).
The representation of these statistics is as follows;
From 2012 to 2023, a total of 2206 Kolbars (porters) were killed and injured (589 killed and 1617 injured).
40 of the Kolbars (porters) killed and injured were under 18 years old.
More than 73% of these Kolbars (porters) were killed and injured by direct fire from the Islamic Republic's military forces.
Killing and injuring due to falling from a height of more than 6%, due to frostbite and snowfall 4%, and due to mine explosions close to 4% are among the main factors of killing and injuring porters.

Farhad Minaei and Ramin Bavajani, 15 and 16 years old, from Salas-e Babajani, were injured by direct fire from military forces, and Amanj Azarpour, 17 years old and from Saqqez, was injured by a mine explosion.

In these cases, 16 porters were killed and injured on the roads and on the way to porterage as a result of traffic accidents (3 killed and 13 injured)

22 of these porters were under 18 years old, of whom two were killed and 20 were injured.
