Sanandaj; A story of shooting 120 shotgun pellets at Seyed Adnan Hosseini and arresting him with injured eyes and torture in interrogation and death threat
The eye-injured people were among the large group of wounded during the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi, and the high number of them shows that the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic deliberately shot at the citizens' faces and used it as one of the targeted repression patterns.
Sanandaj was the first city to join the protests in Saqqez and was the heart of this uprising during the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi. The number of 19 killed and hundreds of wounded and the highest number of targeted arrests in this city were also the repression that the Islamic Republic committed.
Kurdpa, which documents the wounded and killed of the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi exclusively, this time in an interview with Seyed Adnan Hosseini, has dealt with how he was wounded during the protests in Sanandaj. Mr. Hosseini lost his right-eye vision as a result of shooting shotgun pellets and was severely tortured following his arrest. He was also threatened with death by putting a gun on his sister-in-law's temple because of complaining about the Revolutionary Guards.
Shooting 120 shotgun pellets at Seyed Adnan Hosseini in the "Nayser neighborhood" of Sanandaj;
Mr. Hosseini, who said he was active in a group, was targeted by shooting a "shotgun" and hit by shotgun pellets and was severely wounded from the waist up. So much so that most of the pellets hit his head, neck, and abdomen and caused complete blindness of his right eye and loss of a small percentage of his left eye vision.
Seyed Adnan Hosseini, about his presence in the protests and shooting by the repressive forces, tells Kurdpa; We were fighting non-violently in the streets of Sanandaj with the slogan of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi, and we were shot by the repressive government forces with a "shotgun" and I was severely wounded in both eyes.
According to Seyed Adnan Hosseini, he and his comrades were ambushed by the repressive government forces on November 21, 2022, in the "Nayser town" of Sanandaj and were targeted by shooting a shotgun. As a result of this shooting, Mr. Hosseini was hit by 120 shotgun pellets from the waist up.
Transfer of Seyed Adnan Hosseini to three hospitals and losing his right eye vision;
Mr. Hosseini tells Kurdpa about this; Immediately after being wounded, I was taken away from the scene by my companions and transferred to "Kowsar" hospital in Sanandaj. However, due to the severity of my eye injury, I was transferred to "Farabi" hospital as soon as possible. The right eye of this wounded protester underwent several surgeries at "Farabi" hospital in Tehran, but due to the severity of his eye condition, he was transferred to "Novin Didgan" clinic in Tehran and despite undergoing several other eye surgeries, he lost his right eye vision completely.
According to the doctors, the continuation of the next eye surgeries of Mr. Hosseini is no longer possible in Iran and he has to continue treatment and surgery abroad.

Mr. Hosseini tells Kurdpa about the actions of the security forces in the "Novin" clinic in Tehran to arrest him; The fourth eye surgery had been done when the security forces were trying to arrest me and I escaped from the "Novin" clinic in Tehran. Nevertheless, when I returned to Sanandaj, I was arrested by the security forces.
The arrest of Seyed Adnan Hosseini and deafness of the left ear and breaking of four teeth, as well as threatening his and his family's death during 11 days of detention and interrogation;
Seyed Adnan Hosseini, after four eye surgeries and when the security forces were trying to arrest him in the "Novin" clinic in Tehran and after returning to Sanandaj, was arrested by plainclothes (anonymous) forces who had covered their faces with masks on December 26, 2022. Mr. Hosseini says in this regard; The security forces transferred me to an unknown place in a car with my eyes closed after arresting me.
Mr. Hosseini talks about the torture and threats against him during his detention; During the 11 days of detention, I endured many tortures that caused severe injuries to my body. Including; complete deafness of the left ear and breaking four teeth. Taking forced confessions and threatening to kill me and my wife and child directly if I reported the news of my arrest were also other pressures during the detention.
This arrested protester was finally thrown out of a car with his eyes closed near the city of Sanandaj after 11 days of torture.
This protester talks about his interrogators; The interrogators spoke to me in "Kolhuri" language, so I guess the arresting forces were the intelligence agents of the Revolutionary Guards, although I still do not know where I was detained and interrogated for these 11 days.
Threatening the family of Seyed Adnan Hosseini with death and putting a gun on his sister-in-law to refrain from complaining;
This wounded protester of the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi, who has now fled to Germany, tells Kurdpa about his complaint against the repressive government forces in the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj; After being released from 11 days of detention and torture in an unknown place, without any reason, document and judicial order, I complained to the Revolutionary Guards, hoping that I could convict some people in this repressive institution. But immediately after the complaint, the security forces attacked my house that night and threatened me with death.
Mr. Hosseini talks about how the security agents attacked his house; The security forces put a gun on my sister-in-law and my children and threatened me to withdraw my complaint and stop the follow-up.

Seyed Adnan Hosseini, son of Seyed Ebrahim and Hanifeh, was born on March 21, 1998 in Sanandaj.
He is married and has a 2-year-old child. Mr. Hosseini was self-employed and has now fled to Germany for surgery and fear of re-arrest.
