Bokan; Arrest and interrogation of six Kurdish citizens by security forces

On December 25, 2023, six Kurdish citizens named "Mehdi Rahimi Azar, Salah Rahimi Azar, Anwar Ghasempour, Kamal Khezri, Kamal Naseri, and Rzgar Rahimi Azar" from the village of "Kani Rash" in Bokan were arrested by security forces and released after completing the interrogation stages.

According to an informed source, these six citizens were arrested by security forces without presenting a judicial order and Kamal Khezri and Kamal Naseri were released after seven hours of interrogation.

The informed source added: Four other citizens were released from the detention center of the Intelligence Department of Bokan after two days of detention and interrogation.

So far, no accurate information has been obtained about the reason for the arrest and the charges against these six Kurdish citizens.
