Sanandaj; Violent arrest of a Kurdish citizen by security forces

Early morning on December 24, a Kurdish citizen named "Mohammad Jafar Mohammadi" 55 years old, son of Tofiq from Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.

According to an informed source, security forces raided his home in the "Haji Abad" neighborhood of Sanandaj without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him with violence.

According to a document obtained by Kurdpa, the arrest of Mohammad Jafar Mohammadi took place after he filed a complaint against the law enforcement personnel of Sanandaj for assault and illegal detention in the military court of Kurdistan province.

On March 7, 2023, Morteza Mohammadi and Sirvan Mohammadi, sons of Mohammad Jafar and among the detainees of the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi, were released from Sanandaj prison by posting bail.
