Summoning Yaser Rahmani-Rad to the first branch of the public court of the Romeshkan

Yaser Rahmani-Rad, a general practitioner and one of the detainees of the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi, was summoned to the first branch of the public court of Romeshkan of Lorestan province on charges of "propaganda against the system".

This doctor, based on the summons he received, must be present in the court on December 26 to take the final defense.

Dr. Rahmani-Rad wrote about his summons to the court on his Instagram page: "On December 26, three days later, along with my lawyer, Mr. Payam Darfeshan, I will be present in the court to defend the attributed charge after the last arrest on September 4, 2023. The attributed charge, after several stages of changing the charges, was finally interpreted as propaganda against the system. If sympathizing and writing about the suffering of the protesters especially those who lost their sight as a result of lead pellets, is considered propaganda against the system, I am proud of it, if medical aid and help to solve the medical problems of the injured; a duty that was the government's, but I took part of it, and was imprisoned for it, is considered propaganda against the system, I would repeat it."

On October 12, 2023, Yaser Rahmani-Rad was released from Khorramabad prison by depositing a bail of one billion and five hundred million tomans.

This doctor was arrested by the security forces at his home in Khorramabad on September 21, 2023, and transferred to the detention center of the Revolutionary Guards Corps of this city.

He was transferred from one of the solitary cells of the detention center of the Revolutionary Guards Corps to the general ward of Khorramabad prison on the evening of Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

Yaser Rahmani-Rad, a general practitioner in November 2022, along with two other doctors who had traveled from Tehran and Khorramabad to Mahabad, were arrested by the security forces in this city. Mr. Rahmani-Rad was finally released from Mahabad prison on January 18, 2023, by depositing a bail.

Then Mr. Rahmani-Rad was acquitted by the third branch of the interrogation of the public and revolutionary prosecutor's office of Mahabad on charges of "gathering and collusion to commit a crime against the internal and external security of the country" and all the medical equipment and public assistance that this doctor had with him on the trip to Mahabad were confiscated in favor of the judiciary.
