The suicide of two staff members of the Chavar petrochemical plant in Ilam

On December 21, two staff members of the Chavar petrochemical plant in Ilam, Javad Norouzi and Mostafa Abbasi, committed suicide in protest of being fired from their jobs.

According to an informed source, these two citizens hanged themselves on the premises of the Chavar petrochemical plant in Ilam after being fired by the CEO and security of this complex.

These two staff members of Chavar petrochemical plant in Ilam were transferred to the hospital and their general condition was reported to be critical.

In this regard, on July 26, 2023, Heydar Mohseni, one of the employees of the Chavar petrochemical plant in Ilam, ended his life due to being fired from his job.

In December 2023, Arash Tabarok, one of the staff members of the Chavar petrochemical plant in Ilam, ended his life by committing suicide after being expelled and banned from entering.

Also in August 2023, two workers of the Ilam petrochemical plant named "Mohammad Nabi Mansouri" and "Ali Mohammad Karimi" from Chavar City of Ilam province ended their lives due to family and economic problems.
