Shirko Hejazi, a civil activist, was transferred to Saqqez prison

On December 13, Shirko Hejazi, a civil activist and head of the Saqqez football federation, was transferred from the Sanandaj intelligence detention center to Saqqez prison.

According to an informed source, this civil activist has been transferred to the quarantine ward of Saqqez prison.

Mr. Hejazi was under pressure from security forces to obtain forced confessions at the Sanandaj intelligence detention center and was also deprived of access to a lawyer.

On September 11, security forces arrested this civil activist without a judicial warrant and with violence in one of the streets near his workplace.

So far, no accurate information has been obtained about the reason for the arrest and the charges against Shirko Hejazi.
