Keivan Nabi was sent on leave from Naghdeh prison

On December 13, 2023, Keivan Nabi, a Kurdish political prisoner from Piranshahr, was sent on leave from Naghdeh prison.

On September 5, 2023, Keivan Nabi, 28, son of Abubakr from Piranshahr, was arrested after being summoned to the branch of the execution of judgments of the court of this county and transferred to Naghdeh prison to serve his sentence.

This Kurdish citizen was sentenced to six years and three months in prison by the first branch of the Revolutionary Court of Mahabad, headed by Judge "Ojaghlou", Based on the verdict issued, he was charged with "membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government" to 32 months in prison and on charges of "gathering and colluding against national security" to 43 months in prison.

According to the law of aggregation, the most severe punishment for this citizen is enforceable.

Also, Keivan Nabi was sentenced by branch 102 of the criminal court of Piranshahr, headed by Judge "Reza Ghahramani Saatloo", to three months and 45 lashes for "disrupting public order", which was converted to a fine of three million and five hundred thousand tomans.

This citizen was arrested on November 12, 2023, without presenting a judicial verdict by the security forces, and after three days of detention in the Piranshahr intelligence office, he was transferred to the Urmia intelligence office.

Mr. Nabi was transferred from the Urmia intelligence office after 26 days of interrogation and after 37 days of detention in Naghdeh prison on January 18, 2023, he was temporarily released on bail of three billion and five hundred million tomans.

Kivan Nabi is married and has one child.
