Jalal Amini was transferred to Bokan Prison to serve his prison sentence

On December 12, Jalal Amini, a citizen from Bokan, was arrested and transferred to Bokan Prison to serve his prison sentence after being summoned to the branch of execution of criminal sentences of the public and revolutionary prosecutor's office of this city.

This citizen was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison by branch 101 of the criminal court of Bokan on charges of "membership and cooperation with one of the Kurdish parties opposed to the Iranian government" in December 2022 and after his objection, this verdict was changed to two years and six months in prison by the appeals court.

On September 4, 2022, this Kurdish citizen was temporarily released from Bokan Prison until the end of the judicial process by depositing a bail of one billion rials.

On August 25, 2022, Mr. Amini was transferred to Bokan Prison after the end of the interrogation from one of the security detention centers in Urmia.

Jalal Amini was deprived of access to a lawyer and visits with his family during his detention.

On August 15, 2022, security forces blocked the road "Mirawa" to Bokan, stopped the vehicle of this citizen, and arrested him without presenting a judicial warrant.

Security forces raided his home after his arrest and searched it.

Jalal Amini was transferred to one of the security detention centers in Urmia for interrogation.

Jalal Amini is the husband of Azimeh Naseri, a former political prisoner who was arrested by security forces in August 2021 and December 2020 and was released from Urmia Central Prison both times after a few months of detention by depositing bail.
