Zahra Payravand and Mehdi Ghasemi-Fard, mother and brother of Ehsan Ghasemi-Fard, one of the martyrs of the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi, were summoned to the intelligence office of Kangavar.
According to an informed source, on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, and Thursday, November 30, 2023, Zahra Payravand and Mehdi Ghasemi-Fard were threatened by the security forces after being summoned to the intelligence office of Kangavar to refrain from holding an anniversary ceremony for their son.
The informed source said that the security forces announced to the family of Ghasemi-Fard after obtaining a written commitment that the anniversary ceremony for their son should be held with their permission.
The informed source added: On November 30, 2023, the security forces prevented the family from holding the anniversary ceremony of the state murder of Ehsan Ghasemi-Fard.
On November 30, 2022, Ehsan Ghasemi-Fard, a 36-year-old Kurdish youth from Kangavar, Kermanshah, and a resident of Karaj, was arrested by five Basij suppression forces in the alley after the defeat of the Islamic Republic's football team against the US team, and due to the severity of the injuries inflicted as a result of torture and beating for several hours by these forces in a repair shop, he lost his life.
