Jutyar Ashrafzadeh transferred to Naghdeh prison to serve his sentence

On December 7, Jutyar Ashrafzadeh, a citizen of Piranshahr, was transferred to Naghdeh prison to serve his sentence.

Mr. Ashrafzadeh was sentenced by the Revolutionary Court of Piranshahr to three years of correctional imprisonment on charges of "assembly and collusion against the national security of the country" and "propaganda against the system", which was reduced to 21 months of correctional imprisonment by the Court of Appeal.

Also, Mahvash Tavassoli, the wife of this citizen, was sentenced by the Revolutionary Court of Piranshahr to the same charges of two years of electronic surveillance.

On the morning of October 19, 2022, Jutyar Ashrafzadeh and Mahvash Tavassoli were arrested by security forces without presenting a judicial order for participating in the protests of Jen, Jian, Azadi and were released on bail after completing the interrogation stages.
