Execution of a prisoner from Ilam in Qezelhesar prison in Karaj

Early in the morning on November 29, 2023, the death sentence of a prisoner named "Eghbal Fathollahi" from Ilam was carried out in Qezelhesar prison in Karaj.

This prisoner was transferred to the solitary confinement cell of Qezelhesar prison in Karaj on November 28, 2023, for the execution of the sentence.

This prisoner was arrested about five years ago on charges related to "drug" crimes and was later sentenced to death by the judiciary.

So far, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by the official authorities or the media inside Iran.
