Sanandaj; Saman Mohammadi was released after posting bail

On November 9, 2023, Saman Mohammadi, an environmental activist living in Sanandaj, was temporarily released from prison in this city on bail of 250 million tomans.

This Kurdish activist was arrested by security forces on October 29, 2023, and transferred to the Shahrampour security detention center in Sanandaj for interrogation.

So far, no accurate information has been obtained about the reason for his arrest and the charges against Mr. Mohammadi.
