Tehran; Fowad Fathi, a labor activist, was arrested and transferred to Evin prison

Fowad Fathi, a labor activist from Sanandaj and resident of Tehran, was arrested by security forces and transferred to Evin Prison on Saturday, November 4th. 

According to an informed source, after several hours of being ignorant, he announced via a short phone call to his family that he was under arrest in Evin prison and that they had been accused by the investigator of the 7th branch of the Evin prosecutor's office.

This informed source added that on Sunday, November 5th, the family of this labor activist went to Evin to follow up on his situation, but the relevant officials told them that the name Fowad Fathi was not registered in the system.

Fowad Fathi is an experienced labor activist from Sanandaj.
