Saqqez; Ahmad Mohammadi, a Kurdish political prisoner, was released

On Monday, October 30, 2023, Ahmad Mohammadi, a Kurdish political prisoner from Saqqez, was released from the prison of this city after completing his sentence.

 This political prisoner was sentenced by the first branch of the Revolutionary Court of Saqqez, headed by Judge "Javad Mostafaei", to four years of imprisonment, including the days of previous detention, on the charges of "espionage and propaganda in favor of one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government".  It was communicated to him on January 13. 2021.

 On, November 23, 2021, this citizen was transferred to Sanandaj Central Prison and then transferred to Saqez Prison after being summoned to the Saqqez Revolutionary Court.

 Ahmad Mohammadi is from the village of "Wozman" in Saqqez.
