Sanandaj; Sarveh Pourmohammadi was sentenced to 10 years in prison

Sarveh Pourmohammadi, a member of the cultural-social association "Nozhin" was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the first branch of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court.

The Sanandaj Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge "Karami", issued this verdict for Ms. Pourmohammadi on the charge of "forming groups and gangs".

The prison sentence of this member of "Nozhin" was notified to her on September 24, through her lawyers Dr. Javamir Abdullahi and Heman Majidi.

On February 13, Sarveh Pourmohammadi was released from the Sanandaj Correction and Education Center temporarily until the end of the judicial proceedings by posting bail.

On January 29, this citizen was arrested by security forces while following up on the status of the detained members of the cultural-social association "Nozhin" in the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court.
