Sanandaj; Tareq Rahimpour released on bail
On Monday, October 23, Tareq Rahimpour, 39, son of Musa from the village of "Ovihang" and a resident of Sanandaj, was temporarily released from prison on a one billion rial bail.
This citizen was deprived of access to a designated lawyer during his detention and, according to an informed source, security forces accused him of "collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties to the Iranian regime".
Mr. Rahimpour was under pressure to obtain forced confessions at the Sanandaj Intelligence Detention Center.
On Wednesday, September 20, 12 security agents arrested this citizen along with severe beatings at his workplace without presenting a judicial order.
On Sunday, May 3, 2020, Tareq Rahimpour was arrested by security forces and later by Branch One of the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj headed by Judge "Saedi" on charges of "collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties to the Iranian regime" to four years suspended imprisonment and due to the complaint of the Revolutionary Guards about "rebellion and insult to the government and agents" sentenced to one-year imprisonment.
