On October 17, 2023, a citizen named "Peshawa Aliyar" 25 years old, son of Ali from Baneh, living in Sulaymaniyah, Iraqi Kurdistan, lost his life due to a mine explosion.
According to a source informed by Kurdpa, this young man was severely injured in the "Sharbazhir" area of Sulaymaniyah as a result of a mine explosion and had lost his life due to severe bleeding and the severity of the injuries.
The body of this citizen was buried in the "Chowarta" area of Sulaymaniyah on October 18, 2023.
The family of Peshwa Aliyar had previously been forced to leave Baneh and seek refuge in Iraqi Kurdistan due to political activities and pressure from security agencies.
