On November 9, 2022, on the 54th day of the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi in Kurdistan, following the governmental killing of Jina-Mahsa Amini, protests had spread and most of the cities of Kurdistan and Iran were the scene of protests. Mahabad was one of the cities that had become a turning point for the protests on this day and during these protests, Mohammad Amin (Shamal) Khadiri-Pour, a 32-year-old protester from Mahabad, was severely wounded by a barrage of shotgun pellets to the right side of his body and liver. He died after six days of hospitalization at "Khomeini" Hospital in Urmia and went into a coma.

Shamal Khadiri-Pour, a protester who closed his shop, did not attend his birthday party and continued to organize and participate in protests despite being injured:

November 4th was Shamal's birthday and he did not even attend his birthday party. Shamal organized the protests every evening at "Fajr, Majboorabad, and Azad University". Even in Majboorabad district, one night before he was injured, he was shot in the stomach by a shotgun pellet from the repressive forces.

He also broke all the street lamps three days before he was injured so that the protesters would not be identified and arrested by the "drones" of the regime.

The informed source of Kurdpa tells about how Shamal was wounded; On November 18, 2022, Shamal heard the news of the death of Dr. "Azad Hosseinpouri" (another victim of Mahabad) while having breakfast and got so upset that he couldnt eat his breakfast. He then played with his daughter "Sana" for a while and prepared himself for the funeral of Dr. Hosseinpouri. Before leaving the house, he looked at his wife and daughter for about a minute and left; a departure that had no return!

This killed protester, after failing to reach the funeral of Dr. Azad Hosseinpouri, took on the responsibility of "leading" the angry and protesting youth in the alleys of "Manba" street in Mahabad and along with the protesters had made barricades on the main street.

At the same time, the special forces attacked the protesters on "Manba" street. Some people had told Shamal that the special forces had a large crowd, let's get away from here, but he had resisted them by picking up and throwing stones at the repressive forces and was targeted by their shooting from a distance of twenty meters with a shotgun and was severely wounded by a large number of shotgun pellets hitting the right side of his body and liver (so that it was pierced). The people transferred him to the house of one of the citizens. Shamal was wounded at noon and was hidden for 6 hours without medical care for fear of being arrested by the repressive security forces. Due to the severity of his injuries and his critical physical condition, they transferred him to Mahabad Hospital.

This wounded protester, who had been hidden for 6 hours to prevent his arrest, was later transferred to Mahabad Hospital due to bleeding and unconsciousness and was admitted to the hospital under the name of "Ghafour Rasouli" for fear of being arrested.

The informed source of Kurdpa tells about the severity of Shamal's injuries and his coma; Due to the severity of the injuries inflicted on this wounded protesting citizen, he was transferred to "Khomeini" Hospital in Urmia that night and after 6 days of being in a coma, he lost his life on Friday, November 24, 2022, at around 7 am.

Summoning the wife and mother of Shamal Khadiri-Pour to one of the police stations in Urmia for handing over his body on condition of registering in the Shahid Foundation( a government institution dedicated to the families of martyrs approved by the government) of the Islamic Republic and burying him at night;

The informed source of Kurdpa tells about the conditions of the security agencies for handing over the body of Shamal; After Shamal's death, his body was transferred to the forensic medicine morgue, and at 4 pm on November 24, 2022, his wife and mother were summoned to one of the police stations near "Khomeini" Hospital. Then after about 11 hours, they handed over Shamal's body to his family on condition of registering in the Shahid Foundation and burying him at night. The family had to bury their son at night to get his body. On the other hand, from the hospital and forensic medicine to the Mahabad cemetery, security forces accompanied the family with threats, pressure, and control of the situation.

In Shemal Khodiri-Pour's forensic medicine sheet, the cause of death is stated as "self-inflicted hard or sharp objects".

The informed source of Kurdpa tells about the threats and pressure of security agencies against Shamal's family; On March 30, 2023, which coincides with "the day of martyrs of Kurdistan", intelligence forces threatened Arazoo Seyedahmadi, wife of Shamal, by phone call to delete his Instagram profile picture and biography, otherwise, they would take action by force or any other method.
