September 15, 2026; Images received by Kurdpa indicate that today, Tuesday, September 15, 2026, dozens of security force vehicles, special unit corps, motorcycles, and suppression vans were mobilized via surrounding highways and deployed directly into the center of Saqqez.
Kurdpa sources report an intensely securitized and militarized atmosphere gripping the city, with all main and secondary access routes leading to Aichi Cemetery effectively sealed off.
In connection with these measures, Kurdpa previously published visual evidence showing the intentional release of water from the Chaghar Weis Dam in Saqqez. Carried out for the third consecutive year on the eve of the fourth anniversary of Zhina-Mahsa Amini's state-sanctioned killing, this flooding strategy aims to submerge and block off all rural, secondary paths to Aichi Cemetery—where Zhina-Mahsa Amini is buried—while heavy military hardware and armed personnel strictly control the primary roads.
