On Monday, September 14, 2026; "Rashid Hessami," a Kurdish teacher from Qorveh, was violently arrested without a judicial warrant following a raid on his home in the Besat neighborhood by security forces. He was subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location, and his home was thoroughly searched during the raid.

The Coordinating Council of Iranian Teachers' Trade Associations reported the arrest, stating that despite repeated inquiries by Mr. Hessami's family, his current whereabouts and condition remain completely unknown. Furthermore, the official reasons for his arrest and any potential charges brought against him have not been disclosed.

Expressing grave concern over Rashid Hessami's situation, the Coordinating Council holds the detaining security agencies fully responsible for his health and safety. The council demands the immediate disclosure of his detention location, provision of phone contact with his family, access to legal representation, and full adherence to all his legal rights.
