Execution of 28 Kurdish political prisoners in 12 years in Kurdistan of Iran
Kurdpa Human Rights Organization Statistics Center has published the statistics of the execution of 28 Kurdish political prisoners in Kurdistan of Iran during the last 12 years (2012 to 2023/10/10) in a Statistical-separative report on the occasion of the International Day of Struggle for the Abolition of the Death Penalty.
The names of the executed are: Sherko Marouarfi, Habiballah Golparipour, Reza Mamadi, Samko khorshidi, Saber Mokhaled Mavaneh, Habib Afshari, Ali Afshari, Mansour Arvand, Sirvan Najvari, Behrouz Alkhani, Mohammad Abdullahi, Morteza Rahmani, Ahad Shabab, Naser Azizi, Zaniar Moradi, Luqman Moradi, Ramin Hossein Panahi, Kamal Ahmadnejad, Mostafa Salimi, Hedayat Abdullahpour, Saber Sheikh Abdullah, Diako Rasulzadeh, Haider Ghorbani, Firoz Musalo, Mohammad Mahdi Karami, Sarkawt Ahmadi, Mahyadin Ebrahimi, Hemn Mustafaei.

These executions have been carried out by the Islamic Republic during these 12 years, except in 2012 and 2019.
The bodies of 21 of the executed have not been handed over to their families, and their burial places are unknown, and only the burial places of 7 people are known (Sherko Marouarfi, Reza Mamadi, Samko Khorshidi, Sirvan Najvari, Haider Ghorbani, Mohammad Mahdi Karami, Hemn Mostafaei).
5 cases of executions were in groups, groups of 2 to 3 people; (Habiballah Golparipour and Reza Mamdi together in Urmia prison, Ali and Habib Afshari together in Urmia prison, Zaniar and Luqman Moradi and Ramin Hossein Panahi together in Rajaeeshahr prison, Diako Rasulzadeh and Saber Sheikh Abdullah together in Urmia prison, also Ahad Shabab and Nasser Azizi, two PDKI Peshmerga were Field executed together after being arrested. Hedayat Abdullahpour's death sentence was executed by firing squad in one of the barracks in Oshnavieh.
The death sentence of Ahad Shabab and Naser Azizi, two PDKI peshmerga, has been executed after being arrested together and in the field during the conflict between the IRGC forces and these two peshmerga. Habib and Ali Afshari were brothers who were executed together in Urmia Central Prison. Zaniar and Luqman Moradi were cousins who were executed together with Ramin Hossein Panahi in Rajaei Prison in Karaj.
